    You need to see more movies Holmes. It was a cool looking flick but had nothing really to offer beyond that.

    For the record, I live on horror flicks.. Hollywood horror (and most Hollywood genres) in 2007 is simply sad. I can't decide which is more pathetic, today's corporate clone music scene or the state of current cinema. This Friday a movie comes out which honors 70's drive-in/grindhouse horror/thrillers suitably titled Grindhouse. I don't if it's gonna live up to the hype it's getting but I'll damn sure be there.. I grew up in South Florida sneaking into drive-in horror double features and later actually "driving in" with dates and high school buds. We saw all the 70's great slice&dice flicks, Texas Chainsaw, Hills Have Eyes, Dawn of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead and so on. Grindhouse is a tribute to those days - can't wait!
