Pretty happy. One of our better drafts imo. Also one of our best off seasons in a while. Imo we got players of need at a good value. Hunter was a first rounder and shwenke could have easily gone in a much higher round. All in all I am very happy with this off season, for once the organization is actually spending some money and trying to improve this team instead off just putting lipstick on what we got.

We have struck out with in the recent past with fast athletic linebackers in the middle rds. Keglar was a total bust and Mcgrath just a role player who had to start for a while.

I have more confidence in Webster's pick with Gooden.

Seeing him and Brown as our 2 backers in the 4-2-5 nickel giving McCarthey a break and using Ayers more as an outside pass rusher.

Gooden is 100% a 4-3 or nickel linebacker not drafted for a 3-4 at all.

Never been this pumped for the start of a season. I think that means I'm pretty happy.

I'm usually always optimistic after a draft but have learned to stay realistic about how much impact it has on the upcoming season.

Happy with it, I thought going WR in round 2 was interesting, but the value was there.

Same with LB in the 4th.
