I wont lobby too hard for Hester, because Leon Washington is about the same at this stage of their careers, but Hester beats Reynaud in every KR stat there is, not even close.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I would rather have the guy who consistently gives us good field position over the guy who occasionally scores a td.

looks perty close to me. And I am just using Reynaud as an example, because he is garbage.

Just saying that Hester will probably get more money from some other stupid team who will overpay him.. we have bigger fish to fry. If we're talking 2006 Devin hester.. then yes. most definitely a must-sign

We have bigger needs when we could probably have Leon for cheaper or even let Mariani see if he is healthy enough to come back.

I still think Munchak screwed Mariani by putting him on IR last season. Wasn't he gonna be healthy by mid season or something?

Sounded like he would be back earlier, but we were comfortable rolling with Reytard. Boy was that a mistake.

Draft a 4th CB that can return and contribute on special teams. This is assuming Vern is paid elsewhere.

If a guy has only had one healthy season in three or four years. Then he is a scrub. He also is notoriously known for fumbling the ball as well. He's an ok return man at best when healthy. He can't make people miss or change direction but if he gets a lane he has the speed to do it.
