Lol yea they totally do that. Killing fire ants is a side hobby of mine. They are a plague.
This is the best I have found for killing ants. It is a slow killer so the ants bring it back to the nest and it kills all of them, including the queen. Just dribble it around outside and the the ants go for it.
That is f'ed up though, those floating ant blobs. They could end up anywhere.
Gasoline works well. I always burned them as a kid.
They can ruin your yard and if they swarm a pet or small child it can be bad.
They are invasive, they serve no purpose. They are bad for the environment, kill them all.
That raid stuff is less work. You do not have to worry about finding the ants, the ants find the poison.
Gas is great for killing ants! use to do that often when i was a kid
you gotta be careful though as it will prevent you from growing anything in that spot
yea i thought that too but somehow the grass remained
IDK if the grass was grass over there, could have been weeds, but it didnt die
