Nah, Griff's issue is; he's gone limp.

C.J. at least has always stood by his words, Griffin, he don't care. He's a sad character to watch, i don't even get mad anymore, thats how bad he's become.

When C.J. was bad earlier, I was livid, cause I knew he could do better, but Griffin is trash.

I don't know if Griffin has ever been good. When he was a probowler...He had a pretty good supporting cast. Our front 7 that year... Not to mention haynesworth requiring 3 blockers on almost every snap... made him look a lot better than he really was...

All he ever did was sit back in zone and pick off lazily passed footballs.

I actually kind of feel bad for Griffin. Hear me out. He indeed sucks. No doubt about it. But it's our idiot FO who gave him the big long-term deal, knowing full well he sucks, that really deserves to bear the brunt of our hate. If they would've just left the tag on him for this season there's no doubt in my mind he would've been benched for poor play by now. No one will ever convince me that keeping him as the starter all this time was anything other than an attempt to not make the FO look like complete fools (oops... too late).

I've met Griff once and he was one of the nicest players I've ever encountered. Just too bad he plays like one of the nicest players in the NFL as well. I want to like the guy, but I've almost broken my TV because of him too many times.

That said, people go too far on Twitter sometimes. And I'm betting 99% of those people wouldn't say anything other than "Pleased to meet ya sir" to his face.

He brought his own something to the table back then, but I see where you're coming from.

If he was ever any good, he shouldn't be this bad now.

I remember him clocking dudes at one time, so I know there's a good player deep down in there somewhere. I'm guessing thats what the FO was saying back when they extended him.

    First off, it's twitter LOL.

If he's so bothered by some trumped up texts that millions could see, then shut off your phone or computer, don't read it. Not like people are hurling bricks at his house.

If he needs to get away from the critics its as easy as 1-2-3

Then again, if he's so easily affected by fans, he should just retire now. Him and Vince could go sale used cars with LeRoy Harris and Donnie Nickey.

I never said he was. I don't know the guy so I have no idea how much it bothers him, if at all. I was just making a broader point about people talking tough from behind the safety of their keyboards. Of course I'm not talking about a guy like you who is stronger than Keith Bulluck though. Clearly Griff would be shaking in his boots at the sight of the 24" pythons. ;)

I gave the guy some constructive criticisms once on Facebook, and he and his clan of enablers/retards went crazy on me. The guy is emotionally unstable. He suffers from something.

i thought extending him and not franchising him would help show the team cares and stands behind him, but I guess not.

You don't encourage 10 year olds to cyber bully... why would people encourage grown adults to cyberbully football celebrities? Millions of dollars doesn't instantly give someone thick skin. You don't want to be the guy that causes someone to lose it and go Jovan belcher. This is why I don't twitter. People use it as a crap talking mechanism rather than a source of new information. I wouldn't have anything to say to Griffin on the streets unless he made a game saving INT.. in which I would say Nice Play. Other than that, I don't have anything to say to the guy. The coaches are there and the fans are there on Sundays to tell him how bad he sucks. No point in rubbing his face in it.

When the fans and coaches are no longer there.. there will probably be no more Michael Griffin.

Yeah. He was never great but he's just absolutely god awful now. Must be a mental thing.

FO is even dumber than I thought if they gave him a long-term deal because "there's a good player deep down in there somewhere".
