Well played. If that's the only effect the curse has to have, then I'm fine with it.

 

So basically, Vince was hit by the curse with a crappy GM?

 

Maybe we could request Schwartz could be on the cover next year. His 'curse' could actually be a good thing for us.....you know, getting hit by a bus or something....:grrhee:

 

You know, for all the talk about MR and the draft choices - has anyone considered the fact that Fisher and Chow probably had more influence on this draft than any before? Remember Reiny was talking with all the position coaches and getting lots of opinions about what each coach thought they needed. Given that we know he was soliciting opinions like that, isn't there a real possibility that the feedback he got from the coaches on the ground was that the WRs we have were better than what is being advertised?

 

The criticism of MR is ridiculous. It's all over the place, and we don't have much to see of him yet. It's waaay to early to judge the draft, and there are all kinds of conflicting opinions on our free agency work. I'm sorry for everyone who's disappointed that we didn't go out and sign two or three big names, but no team does that every year, except the skins, and look what it's gotten them.

 

If you answer your doorbell and find a flaming brown paper bag on your door-step. DO NOT STOMP ON IT in your socks. Chances are, it's poo. Now, who knows it could be a bag of gold, but most would assume it's poo.

MR's draft/offseason is that flaming bag. And it could be too early to tell, but the odds are - it's poo.

 

Well, I'll give you style points for that one. Not much else, though. This was a solid offseason - can't do it all in 1 year.
