I think demographics are in middle TN favor too. We're growing fast, good economic characteristics, geographically a team is needed in this area, and TN fans buy a ton of merchandise. This market is on the rise.

no kidding.... which is why I don't understand why the NFL is so hung up on trying to get "it's market"...there ISN'T a market in LA!. If there was, the rams would still be there, and Oakland would have never had to move there AND back.

    no we aint going anywhere

    ill tell ya why....

the titans after 2 loosing seasons...and after only two days of selling tickets...COMPLETLY SOLD OUT ALL THER HOME GAMES AND WE ALSO HAVE A SEASON TICKET HOLDER WAITING LIST TAHT RIVALS THE LIST OF BUSH'S MISTAKES....so yeah...we aint going no where

tennessee still supports the titans even when they loose...that is wat u call true fans...

its easy to root for a winning team but much harder to root through the difficult times and they dont get much more diffficult then 3 loosing seaons....unlesss course ur hte carndles...lol

The money is in leaving, not attendance, So you will have to fork it out.

They want it because it is the 2nd largest media market in the country. The league doesn't make money from the ticket sales, but they make their money on the TV deals and they figure there is such a huge number of potential fans/viewers in the L.A. area that it would be gold.

You are right though. The problem with L.A. seems to be that if they are winning - no problem. But if they are not.... it is a ghost town.

Seems as though that statement equates to the same thing BiPolar said...passionate. Just lots of passionate fans.

The Browns' had a packed house every Sunday and still moved to Baltimore. That being said... there were midigating factors like Art Modell owning the NFL millions of dallors for a expired lone.
