Lol f**k this gym, I went in on a trial and already knew about their no grunting or dropping weights policy but I got the alarm for deadlifting, which apparently is banned. The only reason I even gave it a chance was because it's close to me.

I'm not even close to a gym rat and think everything the gym stands for is stupid. If you're not grunting and dropping weights to an extent at least, you're not pushing yourself. Their highest dumbbells only go up to 70 lol.

And get this, they hand out free pizza and candy to you after your work out as an "reward" LOL.

And yes, there are a lot of trolls at this gym, case in point:

But I will say this, as dumb as the gym is, their marketing scheme is brilliant, I applaud them for stealing so much money. The "judge-free" environment, the light weights, the free pizza and treats...it sucks in all the fat and lazy people that don't really want to be at a gym, but can feel good about themselves for being able to say they have a gym membership, that's cash cow right there and Planet Fitness knows that. So bravo, Planet Fitness, bravo indeed.

Free pizza and candy is brilliant too.

The fattys who go think they've done their work out, they can eat what they want and it won't affect them.

They won't lose weight and keep them at the gym with their membership for longer.

Nashville Athletic Club is pretty nice. Or was a few years ago. I loved doing my 2 miles while watching a movie in a dark theater.

I actually am a member at Planet Fitness.

It is only $10 bucks a month and the one here is really nice.

Their "judgement free" policy and marketing is ridiculous.

So being the only real gym option here I deal with their nonsense.
