As long as we win. Then we will need baltimore to beat pittsburgh and us to beat the colts next week.

if cleveland loses to cincy and we win out then we're in.

if pit loses to balt and we win out then we're in.

if jax loses to oak & houston and we win out then we're in.

    those are the 3 scenerios.

Yeah and how can we beat Jacksonville? Even if they lose out and we win out that just puts us at a tie. And we only beat them by 3 points where they beat us by 15.

And the same goes for Cleveland if they beat Cincinnati but lose their next game. We would finish the same but becasue they beat Cincy their AFC record would be one game better than ours. So I think we NEED them to lose tomorrow.

We can beat Jacksonville because we will have a better division record if we end up on the same record (ie. they lose out, and we win out).

Cleveland HAVE to lose to Cincinnati for us to have a chance. Then their division and conference record will be the same as ours.

Actually if cleveland wins out and we win out and pittsburgh loses to balt then cleveland wins the division. we're tied w/ pittsburgh and we've got the same conference record. we tie in common opponents record so it goes to strength of victory which is win% of teams you beat. its close at the moment but they beat the dolphins and to win out we'll have to beat the colts which would put us in over pitt.

to that I would like to add because we are dealing with overall conference records here, a Cleveland loss to San Francisco in week 17 is not good enough to swing a tie breaker for us. Cleveland must lose to Cincinnati. It's not only a conference game but also a division game for them so that makes today's game all the more crucial.

If the Browns beat Cinci, we are still in it if we win. Then, the Ravens would need to beat the Steelers in week 17 and the Browns would need to beat the 49ers.
