If Mariota goes #1

I would not be as excited as you would be at that point, but I agree it would be tougher to pass on Winston. I would still want to look at the trade offers before locking in, as I would think that others would feel the same way.

 

You gotta believe there would be more teams wanting to trade up for Winston, he's just a much better QB prospect. The Titans should still get some really good offers.

 

We should want Winston instead of putting all our hopes on the fools gold that is Zach Mettenberger.

 

I say load the D in 2015 and drink the #7 koolaide

It will be good for a year. Then you will know what you have. If he cant stay on the field then hes a backup QB at most. Start taking shots at another starter in 2016. UFA or draft

 

I have this strange feeling if they go D, it will be Fowler and not LW. I still think a WR is in play at #1 as well, ESPECIALLY if they need to get a starting caliber RT early (say round 2). Not saying what I want, but I can see this happening, and signs have pointed towards it.
