It's funny... there definitely seems to be some animosity between Blaine and Wyatt (at least from Blaine's side). Jim almost always shoots down Blaine's theories and you can tell it really pisses him off. Blaine's tone always seems so different with Wyatt than with other guests.

Horton runs a 3-4. I wanted him as HC. But, if he's coming in as DC no thanks. Why? Well he'd only be here for a year, maybe two before he gets a HC gig. If he brings his 3-4 defense in, we'll need many roster additions, and it would be able to be completed in one off-season... then he'll leave us.

I'd still take him, but not over Marinelli. The good thing with Horton, if Munch sucks and gets the can mid-season, Horton can take over!

He runs 3-4 in Arizona. I've never seen it said that he would force a 3-4 wherever he goes. Maybe he would, but I don't think we can conclude that he would.

Good coaches adapt their scheme to the talent on the roster.

He's a Dick LeBeau disciple and has been in the 3-4 his entire career. He's running the 3-4.

Please god, Munch wake up and go after someone worth a da**.

Sources tell WSCR that defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli will not return to the Bears next season.

Although he's under contract, Marinelli didn't want to stay in Chicago without close friend Lovie Smith. He's been linked to the staff Monte Kiffin is putting together in Dallas. So new coach Marc Trestman will be forced to press on without the two minds that ran the league's No. 5 defense in 2012. He could sustain some level of continuity on that side of the ball by promoting respected secondary coach Jon Hoke to defensive coordinator.

Gray will be our DC next season. No way we land Horton, Marinelli or Smith. I'm a debbie downer right now, but I think it's Munchak/Loggains/Gray in '13

Here's the big question: If the Titan's open the season with a string of losses; will our coordinators get the axe mid season, or do you thing Munch lives and dies with them ?
