Not hard to beat 2 and 3 wins.

You said in your post above its a better roster.

I'm leaning towards no but think it's possible (on topic)

Yes, but I also said if he wins 7-9 games he deserves another year. Meaning more wins than the last 2 seasons combined. IMO if he wins 5-6, FO should gauge interest for a possible replacement. If he wins 3-4, he needs to be gone regardless.

This was a 5-6 win team with or without Mularkey.
To really impress me...win a f*cking division game. Maybe tonight? Those are the ones he needs to get this team focused and ready for. That's part of being a HC as well.

It's close but I think they are better than 5-6 wins. But to me, winning against the Jags isnt saying anything, other than the excitement of a Titans win. A win over the Colts or Texans is our next step. We have 2 chances left and need to get them.

Dont mistake giving him a year for defending. Theres no chance hes fired mid season so why not give him a season and find out?

Late to the dance here, but just so we're clear on how much credit McDaniels should get for this move, he needed to draft a WR BECAUSE he just traded away Marshall.

Then, McDaniels rode the Orton/Tebow QB train for his 1+ seasons where Brandon Lloyd was the top WR in McDaniels full season, and then Thomas and Decker in their second year (McDaniels gets fired) only had 600 yds and 500 yds respectively.
The year after McDaniels is gone, Thomas and Decker blowup, likely thanks to a real QB in the Peyton Manning guy.

Now I'm not knocking the talent of either Thomas or Decker, but McDaniels put himself in a position where he HAD to draft a WR, then seemed ok to ride the Orton/Tebow train where Thomas and Decker likely would have struggled because the passing game was struggling.

They should have built this game as losing team the coach get fired live after game. Might pull in some extra ratings.

They should have WWE style promos for Bradley and Mularkey too.
    Classic "loser gets fired" match.

We need all the division wins we can get. If we lose tonight I think it will really demoralize this team. Now this is a bigger win than the Colts game.
