"I was able to step it up, start picking my game up a little bit."

Session is symbolic of the Colts way of operating.

The team needed him after Tyjuan Hagler started the season the PUP list after an offseason chest injury and was patient with him as he figured things out. When his mind was racing early and he needed to settle down, he knew the team would be patient with him.

"It's a system," Session said. "The thing about Mr. [Bill] Polian and his whole crew, they get the right guys here. They see promise, and they get the right guys in here and they watch them develop, they make them develop. We've got a lot of good players that are behind me right now that are going to develop into great players. We just keep reloading it."
