I'm a 40+, overweight, beer loving, sports watching, MAC using guy.

Again. Bottomline, the Mac is more versatile and safer to use than a PC. That isn't me being elitist or "metrosexual". Its simply factual.

It's not a fact because it cannot be substantiated. It's opinion.

Come on now Gunny. It absolutely is fact.

Fact - Mac is MUCH less likely to ever get a virus than a PC. By a mile...not even close.

Fact - Mac is much more versitile than a PC. Why? Because it can run both Mac and PC applications.

That isn't an opinion. That is simple, subtantiated fact.

well once there's enough people using Macs, they'll start getting viruses too

Yes and no. The mac OS is much more difficult to crack than Windows. But probably if as many Mac users as PC, then little more attention would be paid by the scum. But as of now, I worry none about viruses.

Yeah, that's what PC fanboys keep saying, but don't you think that someone has made it their personal crusade to infect all Macs just to prove a point? So far, I'm virus free and have been using Mac OS for 20+ years.
