    Uhhh...

The last 3 years make him superior.

Get off your Titans bias nonsense and be rational.

    2012 - 6th leading rusher.
    2011 - 5th leading rusher.
    2010 - 1st leading rusher.

Yeah... that doesn't really seem "average" to me, or anyone else that is even half decent at math.

and before you say "it's his offensive line"...

    1. No one uses that argument against any other top 5'ish RB.
    2. Watch the video below and lie to yourself saying those runs are all OL.

Woah woah woah killa. I was asking what physical traits actually makes him superior... I can go grab a handful of no name RBs that shanahan has coached into top backs or 1000 yard rushers....

So I think juuuuuuust maybe... Just maaaaybe... Foster is a product of that system.

So again... What makes him superior? What does he do that's really amazing or flashes consistently other than slicing that zone scheme

Saw that coming.... Edited it while you posted.

Why does he need superior traits? Did anyone question E. Smith's physical superiority? Jerry Rice's? Barry Sanders?

    He has great vision.
    He has great footwork.
    He cuts very well.
He can catch very well out of the backfield.
    He's great in open space.
    He's strong.
    Breaks arm tackles often.

Downing him shows you really, REALLY hate the Texans. That's about it.

I don't hate the guy, I just think Tate can fill his void pretty easy is all. Dude was a UDFA. I tend to have to believe there was a reason a nation full of scouts passed.

I'm not saying he is talentless. Please run the troll angle all you want. I just don't think the dude has any superior skills at the RB position.

He does cut really well and he can catch. His cutting and vision both helps his output in that scheme. You put him on another team, running power... I'm not sure he produces even close.

He was undrafted- and I never understood why. He was extremely slept on.

Fumbles were his only weakness in college.

You don't put up the numbers he has while being average.

Only thing he's missing is elite speed and elusiveness but honestly only AP has all of those qualities. Foster has proven himself to be elite by every metric we have. It's just that along with many others when I watch him play he just doesn't "look" elite for some unknown reason. At the end of the day though, production is all that matters, and this man has definitely produced.

I've posted here before about living across the street from Foster for a year in Knoxville.

He is not all there and loved drugs, not sure how he hasn't gotten busted in the league yet but his entire apartment was a haze. Half the team smoked over there. I smoked over there.

He seemed like a good dude. He was out of his mind arrogant and weird as hell. He was heavy into meditation, spiritual nonsense, stuff like that.

IMO he was a spoiled pot head with a false sense of enlightenment.

Well as soon as Fosters over worked ass gets hurt, and Tate starts reproducing his stats, we can revisit this topic
