Rumor interesting CBS Sports story

You know, that qb that actually won something at UT.

 

He just got promoted to OC at USC.

 

Better resume than Manning.

He has also never sexually assaulted a woman.

 

Manning's family has deep connections in TN and MS. He owns a f*ckload of timberland in this area. There aren't going to be many opportunities for him to achieve the next level in the profession of football as what is being rumored.

Add that to how the team has currently been positioned by ownership, and these rumors simply bring to light the very real possibility p) that the team ownership structure could be changing after this season.

I'm not ringing a bell that these rumors are a high probability, but I also don't think anybody can feel confident a team sale or Manning becoming involved is absolutely not happening.

 

This is sort of the boat that I am in. I do not know if I buy into this specific rumor, but I think that there seems to be an awful lot of smoke around this topic (ownership change, with or without Manning). That, coupled with my pure hope that there is an ownership change here (which IMO could really be liberating for this franchise) is what keeps me interested in reading stories like this.

 

What's all this Brady ****? He is playing for another 3-5 years I would guess.

 

We have openings at President, GM (soon) and Head Coach. Manning is done playing QB. Bill and Chris Polian are available and qualified. They might want to work with Manning. Titans would likely love to have these guys in their front office.

I don't see anything unrealistic or undesirable. It would be a great thing for the Titans. Put me on the "I hope it's true" list.
