Ryan, the same was thought about Toby Macguire as Spiderman. I found him believable.
Also, that means two leading roles played by young actors with dumb names. :ha:

Gunny, David Banner is The Hulk

I thought it was Bruce Banner?

  3. It is Bruce Banner.

I also prefer Spiderman to Superman as a character, no doubt. Superman is too close to perfect. But that's not to say he doesn't get challenged. They throw the biggest, deadliest villians at him to balance it out. I don't generally see any of Spiderman's villians being a threat like many of Superman's.

I think Topher is Venom because he looks like Toby. I think they're the good part/counterpart.

I'm more interested in the pirate movie. But if superman keeps water from aquaman and steels ironman's girlfriend, I'll take a look. I'd love to see a dark side.

I think you can relate to 'em because of Clark Kent. He's nobody when he's Clark. And nobody even knows he exists, but when he's superman, everybody loves him. That's a real issue right there. I think his story is similar to all the other superhero's. The only difference is that his powers are so much greater it is hard to root for him. And he's certianly not as connected to his villians as spiderman is. Since spidey seems to create all of his. That's fun. But overall his story has some play. You just have to remember that in the 70's and 80's nobody was ready for that kind of story. It'll be up to the movie makers of today to tackle his issues. I think someone will be able to do it.

My personal favorite hero is the flash, but I dunno how you make a movie out of that. Would be really hard to do well.

Yeah, back when superhero suits looked like badly fitted crew socks.

Superman... no, i just canĀ“t stand superheros that wear their slips OVER their pants. Thank god superhero fashion has changed. And no more capes, they are just for the bad guys.

I think Peter Parker was lot better because it did help out even though the media and most people where against him. He also struggled to get going in life, not to talk about his personal life. So, even though he had awesome powers u still pity him.

And flying just makes the characters... out of our reality. So, no flying for spidey.
