    yea he is.

oh I forget how Jamaal Charles has a faster recorded 40 time. I member that day. the sky was yellow and the ocean was purple. and you were right about the spurs not being able to play with the heat.

and i honestly believe if there was a scrub faster than cj we woulda known about him cuz well he wouldn't of been a scrub cuz hed be the fastest rb ever

I couldn't care less about how fast CJ was 4 years ago. He'd be lucky to run a 4.35 right now.

I see everyone is still clinging to that 4.24.

.... Well let me drop a number for you guys to combat it-

    10.1

    vs

    10.38

Unless we're only talking 40 yards?

id say for a rb 40 is the only number that matters I mean unless your name is chris Johnson how often do you run farther than 80 yards??????

He has at least seven or eight runs over 80 yards in his career including three runs over 80 yards just last year alone and no running back has come close. The crazy thing is no running back has ever ran for 80 yards more than three times in a career and C.J. did it in one season.

There has been plenty of times i was irritated with him and wished they'd trade him and find someone else especially all the times he would kill drives being tackled for negative yardage. That used to drive me crazy watching him dance around and end up losing ten yards or more. But at this point he happens to be one of my favorites and i would not want to see him leave as long as he is still doing a good job running the ball.

I think once the line issues are solved this season that C.J. is going to have one of his best seasons yet.In his career he is right around a five yard average per carry and in his first five years he never missed a game or been injured.

I just hope they don't pull no dumb **** and release him in the next couple years because of his contract being high if he is still running good and making plays. He is our best weapon and as long as he plays well he needs to be here. That is one thing i don't like about our management and the way long term players like McNair are done in the end. Also we've made a few goofs like letting Derrick Mason go and the latest move would be Finnegan when they should've kept him and got rid of Griffin.Where Finnegan was scrappy and gave our defense an identity well Griffin is pretty much the opposite of Finnegan in that regard.Someone like Pollard or even Gregg Williams needs to lay into Griffin and make him be accountable.

There was a comment made in one of GM Webster's interviews that if Shonn Greene ran well and had a good season then there would be a chance we would let C.J. go because Greene is much cheaper and i thought that was very ignorant. No way in hell would that make any sense at all. Both C.J. and Greene have very specific roles and thats the way it should be.

What does getting long runs have to do with anything?

I doubt you want to raise that argument, considering Charles usually runs further per carry and has through both their careers.

He averages a whole yard further per carry than CJ does.

One thing is for sure- no other RB in the NFL runs backward faster than CJ.
