According to Peter King, Brett Favre is going to come back, with his agent starting the process within the next 10 days. He mentions Chicago and Minnesota as possible destinations. Minny with an offense of Favre, Peterson, and Berrian.

The guy had an awesome season last year. Retire or not he has gas in the tank. It gets embarrassing when he does not deserve to be on the field IMO.

  3. he's not going to retire...he can taste how close he is...it's not going to happen, not this year

playing for another team will kill everything he stood for.

look at Eddie and McNair they should have retired as Titans were they played great for years. Eddie went on to sucking for the Cowboys and McNair went on to get beat up as a Raven , im sure the Raven fans dont care that McNair retired.

Farve would be an idiot to go elsewhere. It would cost him millions in the long run.

But Favre is an idiot. He doesn't care about the money. He only cares about the name Brett Favre being in the media. He's got an addiction to attention, and it's pretty silly.

Honestly, how many of us thought this wouldn't happen? It was predictable, and here we are again.

Looking back we have to give GB and Farve alot of credit for turning the club around and having a great year last year.

I don't agree with Gloat that Farve is doing all this for the pub. I really believe Farve is just a kid at heart who loves to play football and he knows that this could be the end for good. I also wonder if Farve is the source of most of this stuff. Sure if enough media outlets and fans start begging him to come back it is going to effect him (he will really think he can still play and that he is wanted). He is a kid that loves to play football...still.

    Only Barry Sanders stays retired.

What? If he comes back, he will get his salary back. I don't understand your point at all.

Another team probably wouldn't pay him 12 million per year. He'd also lose out on a lot of his die hard green bay fans, and potential future jobs after his football career. His longevity with green bay gets him a lot of fan loyalty, which he will lose if he goes elsewhere.
