GrandMajesty, I don't think you completely understand what a Salary Cap limit is. We can't just keep everyone we want to keep. Take 2011 for example: We couldn't keep both Finny and Whiffin.. we chose Whiffin. It was the wrong choice obviously, but oh well. Win some lose some. Teams will always have to let players go, it's the natural order of the NFL. Be thankful for the Cap, because as a small market team, we would be at a severe disadvantage without one.

We couldn't just keep Cookie either, he was unhappy and didn't want to play for us. I guess you wanted us to bow at his feet, beg for him to stay, and promise to model the offense around him. NO.

We took Locker in 2011 because we HAD to take the best QB on the board. VY was gone and KFC was.. KFC. The draft was during the lockout, and Hasselbeck was far from a guarantee. Had we signed Hass before the draft, I imagine we would have taken a different route.

We have had a killer off-season, addressing positions of need, and spending money where we needed to. We have all the players in place, it's all on the coaching staff right now. If we lose, they are gone.

Hey RockyTop, I do respect your opinion and point of view. And understand the salary cap very well after all these years. I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass here, just amazing to me that what I think in stating some of the obvious, especially about our past history, fires up so many....There was many, many times in the past where we could've retained players in our cap position and didn't. It's frustrating when, like every fan on this board, all I want is to win and think it's been long overdue for the Tennessee Titans to get back to a Superbowl.

And no, Mr. TitanWilly is of no relation to me....amazing too is the fact that if one person responds to me in a some what positive manner, that too creates havoc and waves "red flags."
