Is Mariota on a leash?

    I wonder if Mariota has "complete "control of the offense to call audibles or make his own play call for example like Manning or Brady or is he relagated to plays calls from upstairs I see the wristband on his arm. He should have some say in who's on the field with him for specific plays.

    He's regulated, like almost all of the other qbs out there. He has control to audible to a certain set of plays based on what he sees but personnel wise it's probably all Whis.

    He called a couple audibles against buffalo...

    regardless hes a 5th game rookie... I'm not really sure how efficient he could be at audibles at this point.

    Exactly. Not many rookies (if any) have "full control" off the offense 5 games into their career.
