Is the iPhone coming to Verizon?

    Ive read a few stories than Apple is making a new iphone for the Verizon network and will launch later this year.

    I hope this is true , cause i want a iphone but dont want to switch to AT&T. Verizon is the best service.

    I dont see the big deal with iPhone. Verizon has had many phones that can do everything the iPhone can do for years.

    And with droid out now, why is there a need? Unless you really do need an app to tell you how good you kiss. (really exists)

    the reason i got an iPhone is so i didn't have to carry my iPod and an phone at the same time and it is easily the best phone AT&T has to offer.

    I have Verizon and wanted the iphone. I bought a Motorola Droid and I am very impressed with it. It is very similar to the iphone. Compare the two and you may like the droid just as much if not better. apple has more apps but the android market has a lot of the same one's

    so when is gotitans getting an app????

    yeah, the droid looks nice ,They said it's selling really good and thats one reason Apple wants to hurry up and get the iphone to Verizion so Droid doesnt gain market share.

    But im worried if a get a Droid , then the new iphone will be better than it is now and blow the droid away.

    how is the internet on the Droid? i have an LG Dare with 3g speeds and it's slow as a turtle when on the internet. i hoping its just the phone and not the 3g speed.

    I'm on the Verizon network as well and currently have a BlackBerry Curve, which I hate. My two years ends in March and I'm definitely hoping by that time the iPhone has come on over, if not I've only heard good things about the Droid. The Nexus 1 also seems like a very viable option.

    Since my first HTC I'm not sure I'll use any other for a while. I've got an outdated HTC (XV6900) and like it more than anything I've toyed with at the stores.
