I doubt we let verner walk. I don't think he's as desirable to other teams as we think. Who knows though. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised by anything.

 

I think we will let Vern walk. I have said all along that when they signed McCourty and not Vern the decision had been made. Remember, they preimptively gave JMac a contract before his rookie deal was done and got him relatively cheap. They could have done the same thing with Vern, but didn't because they are letting him go. That same year they gave Tim Shaw and Patrick Bailey similar contracts.

 

I agree. It is too much to tie up in the secondary......... Know what I mean?

We've tried to give Verner's job to Campbell for the last two years. For whatever reason the team just doesn't want Verner starting.

 

As much as I would like him back, I don't think they bring him back. Sad too, he is the second best player on the team. Once again, wrong player in the secondary got paid.

 

To be honest, I'd rather have Pollard than ATV and since money is tight I hope the Titans feel the same. Having both would be epic though, made the defense watch-able.

 

I would rather see a better solution than Pollard at SS. Someone who can play several more years and is not a liability in coverage.
