Is this the final time we see Alterraun Verner as a Titan?

An article just came out in the Tennesean asking ATV if he would take a hometown discount. He straight up said he loves it here and just wants a fair deal. Said, "I don't need $11 mil or $10 mil, but I want what's fair. If they lowball me I'm gonna take it personal." Sounds like he would be fine with a $8 mil a year long term contract in step with the Grimes deal. I think we have to lock him down at that price.

Here's the same quote, but this is actually taken into context.

He mentioned $10mil and $11mil... He said "it's not like I need $10mil or $11mil," but clearly those are the figures he's thinking.

$8mil a year should be the max. Hopefully he doesn't get any great offer and we are able to keep him.

 

8 mil a year based on 1 good year. I don't know about that...

 

I have great respect for Vern he really is a good guy but no fool. No mater how this plays out he's got a fan in me.
