Campbell is fast but he's not one of those top end sprinters like CJ or D. Jackson. I've still never seen anyone faster than some of the bursts we saw out of CJ in 2009..
Sometimes players look faster on special teams than on regular offense and defense.. keep in mind that holiday is returning against LBs, TEs, Lineman, and a couple of WRs or DBs.. Put him on the field against starting DBs and other rocket WRs and his speed will be less pronounced. The dude can fly, don't get me wrong, but he's not quite in the same tier as CJ or D. Jackson.
Tommie Campbell is probably faster than the little guy. C.J. is done improving, he doesn't even work out in the off season.
It wasn't timed or anything (nor would it have been a "40" by definition if it were) but CJ's 66 yarder against the Rams in the 2008 preseason was the fastest, (to my eye anyway) I've ever seen a football player run. The guy who was trying to catch him after he burst out the back end ran a 4.31 at the combine (he was a rookie too) and CJ was pulling away from him real fast. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It made me instantly take serious CJ's comments about stumbling a little on the start of his 4.24 at the combine. My next thought. Please let this guy be fairly durable!!! He has actually been extremely durable.
I'm faster than both and stronger than Chance Warmack. -Rusty Smith
Dude, Rusty is a boss! Our team wouldn't be complete without him.
Lol yeah clearly which is why he came in last year bigger than ever! He is still the fastest guy in the league. Ask any defender!
how would a defender know how fast Tommie Campbell is?
C.J. has fallen off, he aint about it anymore, dude sucks too, F that guy
Boo this man!
Holliday is delusional.
There are plenty of faster players in the league... including CJ.
Holliday is like Sproles. It's a different king of speed with them - quick, elusive. Not the same break away speed as CJ or Wallace, for example.
