It really is though. You're acting like real kids had sex. I take it to mean something more.

This book is 1,000 pages and contains some King's strangest imagery.

King was also snorting piles of coke while writing this book.

Been a long time since I've watched the original so I'll probably do that again soon. As far as it being 2 movies, I'll probably wait until the 2nd part is released to watch the first part.

I can honestly say, I'm not real excited about it just because I didn't think it needed remade.

I'm a fan of movie theatres re-releasing original movies that were done well.

Yeah... except the tv miniseries doesn't hold up. Actually a bit goofy if you watch it now.

Even then... the atmosphere is weak, the characters are kinda weak... even Tim Curry's IT has cringe-worthy moments.

    Like... the library. WTF?

Loved the novel but yeah, I agree...Tim Curry was great...only actor that really carried the show.

As for it being a two-parter... kind of torn.

Could be considered a money-grab, but... they'd either have a movie with a LOT cut out OR a long movie with a few things out.

    So... tough call.

my understanding is that this film more closely follows the novel..which is around 1000 pages...did you like The Stand?
