We were screwed no matter what we did in 2006. there were only 2 or 3 unquestionably great players selected in the first round, and Mario Williams who we could not get, was one of them. TERRIBLE first round of players. Extremely hyped up draft, very little results. Ngata looks like he might have been the best to come out of the first round.

Today we can say this, but last year who knew, 2006 who'd have thought??? I honestly thought all 3 prospects at QB were worthy of a first round pick back then. Matt, Vince & Jay all did great things in 2005.

I have to disagree. Williams, Ferguson, Davis, Ngata, Lewis, Mangold are all great players.
