A win is a win, regardless of how you get it. Locker still threw for 378 and 2 TDs with a 113.0 QB Rating. Call them 'lucky catches', it doesn't matter - they still caught the ball. Also, It wasn't a botched FG, they went for it on 4th down. Regardless of what the Lions say.

Texans biggest weakness on D is Brice McCain (-4.4), according to PFF. Against the Broncos where he was penalized twice and allowed five catches for 84 yards and a touchdown. He had a GREAT 2011 season, but thus far.. he's been getting dominated.

Detroit is 10th in the league in Sacks, after three gamegame.. we didn't even let them get a sack. Last year they finished 10th also.. Avril, Suh, and KVB don't get after the QB? But no, Detroit doesn't have a pass rush.. just top 10.

No argument about Brown, he's legit. That's why I can't wait to see Wimbley vs him, see what he can do as a full-time DE.

Scary stat: We've allowed 448 Rushing Yards and 3 TDs in the two games we played HOU last year.

I'm just saying I would be more concerned if the 44 points put up were mostly due to offensive drives rather than the defensive and special teams TDs that were scored. Locker had a good game, I'll give you that but there's no way he's going to do the same against the Texan's pass D. Houston's is in a different league compared to Detroit's. Houston has quality secondary, led by an All Pro and two above average safeties in Quin and Manning.
Why did Locker perform poorly against SD and NE?

Regarding McCain, two words: replacement refs. I'm not worried about him. I would still target the hell out of Kareem Jackson if I were opposing offenses.

I'm not saying the Titans are going to be shut out, but after seeing their performance against NE and SD, going up against Houston's D (top 3 in the league) in Reliant Stadium AND having to try to stop a top 5 offense?

This would be a bigger upset than AZ beating NE.

No argument there. I see what you're saying... 44 points looks scary, until you see 1/2 the points we scored were on D/ST, and how often does that happen? Once or twice a year?

Detroits pass D is bottom 10, Texans top 10. I'm so excited to see what Locker can do vs an elite defense. Vs the Pats he wasn't bad, jut average (229 yards, 1 TD, 71 C%), vs the SD he was terrible. Most of it is play calling.. we got down early, and had to catch up. We tried to do big plays, didn't work. We'd be stuck with 3rd & Longs due to CJ... never got into a groove.

Terrible, terrible, BS excuse... replacement refs normally allowed MORE contact by DBs vs WRs. PI was hardly called, it was blown up due to the MNF is all. The general consensus is that DBs could be more physical. I've noticed Kareem allows alot of short passes, then goes for the tackle. He's scared to get burn, so he plays off a little. He'd fit in well w/ the Titans, our entire secondary does that.

I don't see us winning, i'll be honest. I see a 27-17 loss.. i'll tell the truth. Oh, and supposedly AZ is good this year? I think MIN over SF is a bigger upset. Still not sold on ARZ though.

It would be a mistake on your teams part to think Jake is the same QB from 2 weeks ago. Every single week that guy he's shown improvement.

Dude, we were up 41-27 with 20 seconds left, and you're acting as if we're lucky to win... are you kidding??? The Lions are lucky as hell to send that game into OT. No team in NFL history has scored two TDs that quickly. Everything went their way... we picked them off in the endzone when it was 41-27, but it was negated by roughing the passer. That allowed them to score a TD to make it 41-34. Then the onside kick was fielded with horrible coverage and bounced off our WR's hands. The next play, they complete a pass and we knock the ball loose. It was close, but it may very well have been a fumble rather than an incompletion. The idiot refs didn't even review it though it was inside 2 minutes. Then in OT, Locker completes a huge pass to Stevens. Refs call it incomplete even though it literally never once touched the ground.

I could honestly go on and on and on about how many breaks the Lions got. Yet we still won.

Lions' botched FG in OT??? Did you even watch the highlights? We were the team to miss two field goals. They didn't miss or botch any.

You guys beat the Dolphins and Jags!!! We would've beat those garbage teams too! You think the Broncos were a big win? Blaine Gabbert has a better passer rating than Peyton Manning.

    Think again.
