McCourtey played just fine. Why knock him?

Mouton was a lost cause. Never got why anyone ever thought he was a decent option.

McCourty wasn't bad. But based on what we saw tonight, the #2 CB job will be Verner's sooner rather than later.

 

I'm not sure what you saw to say McCourty sucked. He made no mistakes and looked solid tackling to me. Mouton was awful though.

 

I want to see Tye Hill as well but I suspect he is that bad he makes Mouton look good.

I do agree he can fix it, but man... no way I'd be that easy on myself after that bad of a showing.

 

I agree with everyone else, Jason McCourty wasn't too bad. But Ryan Mouton really didn't have a good game. He let Mike Williams (remember when he was a Titan?), maybe the only wide receiver in NFL history who could have legitimately changed from a wide receiver to an offensive lineman, to score easy after missing the tackle pretty badly. The play that did it for me was the deep pass to Deon Butler. Alterraun Verner was surprisingly effective, I'm excited to see him get more playing time.
