It's Official!!!!

He was solid and it didn't seem like they went his way very often. He made some solid tackles and I only remember one pass caught on him and he was tight and made a sure tackle right away.

He also played at minimum 1/2 of the game or more. He looked big to me and a little more bulked up.

But I guess sometimes guys start threads with an opinion that doesn't fit what really happened all the time. I'm still waiting for the BLOUNT DOMINATES thread to start up.

 

that the players he was listing made no sense for this team to have taken....and that it looks like all the players he was listing were just players he liked because he heard they were good in college/ recognized their names i guess..


nothing about the mouton point; I agree on the idea that he's looking like a wasted pick. It wasn't that picking Cook that way would be bad, just that none of those "aw, we could have had these guys" make sense here with this team

 

Carlos dunlap wouldn't have made sense? Navarro bowman? I'm not Going to get into this, but when there is a wasted pick, there is DEFINETLY somebody else that would have fit better. And what knowledge do you have that I don't that says those guys wouldn't fit?

McCourty will be fine on the outside, but will have to hold off Verner. I was excited to see Alterraun could play so well at both positions.

I wasn't sure, but I thought they traded WRs on the play Mouton got burned. Looked like he went from the slot to the outside and got delayed attempting to get outside. No excuse. He looked pretty bad, considering he's getting beat out by last year's 6th round pick and this year's 4th round rookie. Eesh.

Good thing, though, it seems our corps might be improved overall, and I think the depth certainly is.
