I've gone country!

Ya know. Not trying to get anyone mad. But the only thing I dont like about being a Titans fan.. is the whole "Music City" thing. LOL. Im sorry I just cant , wont , or ever will get into country music. We dont have much Titans stuff up here in PA but the things we do have , have gutiars and all that stuff on it. Its just weird. lol

I hope Vince Young dosent listen to country

The bummer is that the phrase is misunderstood....taken to mean referring only to country music. Not so.
Nashville is where the exec offices of many (former) major record labels are. They deal in all kinds of music.
So why the country thang?
Well, it's because country music was, in it's classic days, a very, very sparse music, with a lot of empty space. Nobody wanted this space filled with noise, so most of it was recorded in Nashville because they had the cleanest-sounding studios at the time.

Gibson has a guitar plant there...which is funny, because the Les Paul-their most popular model-is generally regarded as being a rock and jazz guitar. The Gibson ES335semi-hollowbody is used more for swing and blues. The "Nashville sound" comes from their competitor: the Fender Telecaster and Stratocaster.
