    He'd be the best RB in the draft if he decided to play there. He could be a great safety.

    The only people knocking his cover skill are those that look at the numbers and didn't watch him. He free-lanced far too much to just look at black/white stats. He can cover.

    Not disagreeing with you, I haven't seen him play but it's interesting to see NFL executives and scouts draw that comparison. Maybe they mean in time not necessarily now? Or they aren't talking ball skills?

    It's likely just his presence/feel for the game. The way he's literally everywhere all the time... very TP'esque.

    TP was just better at playing the ball in air. Peppers' short frame doesn't really do him any favors in that area.

    But wherever the play is- Peppers is there. Few have that knack.
