    Titans didn't really "Cut" him per se.
    They tried to stash him on the practice squad, thought he was good enough to keep around, just not on main roster, and someone else picked him up. They wanted to hold onto him. It was the Steelers (and was it Bucs before that?) that actually got rid of him.

    Titans didn't get rid of him for his ethics.

    But yea, letting Blount get away was the right move.
