Ok, so I've looked a little more and I think NFL.com may not have listed him because he wasn't invited to the Combine (which could also explain mocks leaving him out, most of the players who will be drafted go to the Combine) They'll probably add him soon, CBSsportsline has him listed as one of the top five risers at this point

    Ok...

It's clearer now. The folks at gbn and countdown didn't bother to look at the houston pro day; one of about 100 pro days recorded so far. Even though it took me 2 minutes to find it at nfl.com Because he didn't participate in the combine it's like he doesn't even exists to them. They will catch on eventually.

So scout.com's 15 ranking is probably a lot closer to how real scouts see things.

My bad about his numbers i quoted i was looking at his junior year. His production was pretty good. 953 yards-15 tds and a 5.1 ave.

    Negatives?
He only weighed 235 on pro day. Not the more hulking 245 he is listed by houston.

He is not really young like some backs who come out at 20 or 21 years old. He will be 24 oct 1st.

He has hardly no experience at all catching a football.

His eye popping 40 time looks legit not some ultra hyped pro day time you sometimes see. 5 players ran that pro day in the astrodome and the times are scattered. I think it is safe to say that at the combine he would be a solid 4.5 guy if not as fast as at the astrodome. Chris brown ran a 4.52 at his combine so let's say he is similar for straight ahead speed.

Finally a question that can be asked is can he get even bigger and stronger and better. What is his beast potential? At his age maybe not and his improvement from junior to senior year might have been in part because he lost some excess weight.

Wait. Is he...white? I mean, I'm white too, but it's a rare thing to see a white RB.

    Probably...

...mixed? Are we really supposed to be talking about this? And no it doesn't matter but there are a lot more athletes of mixed parentage in professional sports these days.

I remember as a kid watching a steelers game and there was a section at three rivers called franco's italian army. And i'm wondering wtf are they calling a black dude italian for. Well because he was italian. Half anyway. As was roy campanella the hall of fame brooklyn dodger catcher.

One future titan hall of famer is also of mixed parentage. My son..

I wouldn't mind him or Chris Henry of AZ in the 4th or later.
