I want to like Jake. I really do. And every now and then he has a big play that reminds me of what he could be. But his accuracy issues are pretty bad and I'm not sure you can do much to correct that at this point. Also, he manages to do at least one incredibly stupid thing a game it seems like the first down sneak or throwing the ball multiple yards past the LoS. I hope he finds his way because if not we'll be set back another five years. I just don't have a lot of hope for him at this point.
Since you're new, welcome to the board! Here's some advice: punctuation and paragraphs, complete with capital letters at the beginning of sentences, greatly increase your chance of people reading what you write. For instance, I didn't read anything after the first sentence of this mountain of words.
And per your subject....I don't like Locker because he's shown a much lower aptitude for the game then many comparably situated QBs. From a top 10 QB, I expect twice the production Locker has given us.
ill give locker 1 more season, he needs to stay healthy and needs to score 6 in the redzones.
any qb can throw 200 yards and zero tds per game. Locker has to do much better.
I am off the Locker wagon. Don't see anything that makes me believe he is what this franchise needs. Stares guys down...inaccurate....indecisive.
Maybe, just maybe, the injury affected him more than we know...but I will wait to be surprised and not expect him to be our franchise QB at this time.
If Locker has a career playing football it won't be here. If we can't even get our running back going consistently after 2 years how do you even hold out hope for a guy that needs help. Bud signing off on Munch just means he's cool with everything how it is. I'm pretty sure Reinfeldt was the only person in the organization losing his job.
I really want Locker to be the answer, but he's surely not giving us much reason to think that he is. I don't want to get too down on him though, he is still young and has played in some pretty rocky situations i.e. Coordinator change, makeshift OL, and receivers dropping some of his best passes.
jake gets one more year. there are ZERO QBs worth anything coming out this year or in free agency.
