Jameis Winston to Face Disciplinary Hearing Over Rape

    Yes, this is the same (alleged) rape that took place almost two years ago.

    New Definition of Rape

    Before you get all upset about him not being charged you need to understand some things. The definition of sexual assault on a university campus is very different than that of criminal law. An article which explains:

    Essentially according to the student code of conduct at most American universities:
    • A student must specifically consent to sex before it happens -- not saying no is not enough
    • A student cannot consent to sex if they are intoxicated
    • Therefore, if you have sex with a drunk woman you are guilty of rape -- period
    What Can Happen?

    Since these are only school rules the worst that can happen to Jameis is that he is kicked out of school.

    FSU Would Never Kick Jameis -- would they?

    As mentioned in the article posted above these new campus rules are coming right from the White House. School that do not comply face investigation from the Department of Education. Investigation could lead to loss of public funding if the school does not comply.

    The Department of Education is already pissed at FSU for the way they handled the Winston rape case. What could happen is that Winston could be kicked out of school before the season ends. In all likelihood he will be suspended pending a 'proper' investigation.

    I just can't in all good faith say any any of those classify as a rape. If so, I am guilty of rape and I bet a good 70%+ on this board are as well.

    Regardless of whether Winston did or didn't commit rape, the handling by the University and Police Department is inexcusable and should have serious consequences for the people involved.

    FSU should get in trouble for handling the investigation. But this girl a hoe.

    She had a bf yet she was all over Winston in the bar. Did she get in the taxi with him to go to his apartment to drink hot coco and watch netflix? Seriously.

    Not only that, but she had her Bf's jizz already on her panties before she went to the bar. How damn disrespectful is that.

    Does not mater when it comes to the modern definition of sexual assault. Also you are not supposed to slut shame her.
