Jared Cook worth $10.5M?!?! What!?

If we could get Cook to sign a 6 year $26.8 Million then I'd be stoked. Even 5 years and $25 Million would be a good deal.

That's just me being creative with this WR talk, no way he'd agree to that deal

By the way I looked up Nate's contract and he only got a 4.5 mil bonus so I think Cook is going to want more like a total of bonus and salary of 10 mil in the first year.

But here is something to consider and remember I said it here.
Assuming the Titans get a deal done with Cook and don't have to go the tag route......
They will make him a WR with limited time at TE. He will play outside and in the slot and maybe only occasionally play TE and for all intesive purposes will be the WR he wants to be tagged as. So that is why I think the Titans will try to get a deal done with him and why they see him more in their plans.

If we are offering players that average 450 yards a year 6 year deals at 4 million a year then this team is completely ****ed.

This is our fault, not Cooks! He should have become our number 1 target when Britt went down and then his numbers woukd look much better. He catches most of what we throw to him, we just dont do it enough!

Cook has been in "the plans" for ages now.. Morph him with Britt and maybe you have one good, dependable receiver.. Thought of Nate moving on makes me a bit queezy with the remaining tablescraps opposite Wright..

Don't sleep on Damian Williams, he's a solid #3 on any team, maybe even a #2 some places.

There's that.. Hopefully Kenny Loggins (sorry I have to call Loggains that) will let Locker pass in a fashion that 3 out of every 4 of his throws don't get knocked down and we can see if Williams and Wright are the players we think they could be.

I can't imagine how bad this offense is taking Cook out of it.

He's the best player in a terrible offense as is... remove him, and what do we have? Locker (who sucks) and Chris Johnson (who sucks for big spans of time). Maybe if Britt is healthy, it'd be ok... but that's doubtful.

Hopefully we sign him and Loggains actually knows what he has in Cook.


Or we can watch him go for 1000+ with another team. I promise you it'll happen.

Taylor Thompson is our best offensive player, duh DW.
