I was really looking forward to watching this defense this year. With a full off season and a few more draft picks I was sure we'd be much improved and to me there is no excuse to see this miserable product on the field. I mean last year we ended up 8 in points allowed and now were dead last, still not getting sacks and only one turn over. This is pitiful and something drastic needs to change and quick! We're already the worst defense in the league by far so the fear of things getting worse is nonexistent at this point!

151 points in four games and 32nd in pass defense. How much worse could it get while being more aggressive?

He cant get out there and play for them. I bet he can still lay a bigger tackle than Griff though.

Against the Pats a lot worse. When we sent pressure from the outside, Brady would call a draw, and Ridley would gash us. Or either he'd hot route Gronk or their other TE and make a quick throw.

I'm not saying the games couldn't have been called better, I'm just saying that all of our problems don't stem from lack of aggressive playcalling. And FWIW, our defense wasn't horrible last game. Our offense was where we struggled more.

    1) I see other teams playing a soft cover 2 and not getting gashed.

    2) I agree about the slow starts. For the most part, the D gets us in a hole, then solidifies but the O can't fight back, then we get gashed again.

Imo we should use zach brown to cover the other teams best TE the entire game! Griffin struggles with this yet we keep on trying to use him there!

We are missing Courtland Finnegan more than they thought. They should have resigned him and moved him to SS. This type of play would be right in his wheelhouse.

Finny's a little frail to be playing SS imo. He'd probably just get hurt all the time.
