Jets fan sues Patriots, Belichick for over $184M

184 MILLION dollars!!

There is a big difference between suing someone for $184 million and, you know, winning. Technically, I could sue anyone on this board for $184 million. Sounds like a publicity stunt.

I hope he gets it too. I would just love to see some details come out about the possible cheating over the course of his professional career. I want to see some players interviewed and some former coaches interviewed and I want to know if he was always cheating. The NFL office should have done this already and they are dragging their collective feet. There are a lot of potential witnesses here and I'd like to know if we have a cheater here or if it was a one time thing. Like I've said before, this is the easiset investigation of all time. Everyone will have to tell the truth given the leagues pressure to do so recently, and if they don't, there will plenty of other people implicate any liars. I just think it would be easy to blow this door wide open since we all pay good money to the league, and blowing the door open either clears his name or dirties it. There is more to this story and it is not hard to get it.

 

He's not gonna GET that money you guys. As was said earlier, you can basically sue anyone for any amount of money; that doesn't mean you're not going to waste your own money going to court and see your case get thrown out...

This will get thrown out of court - no investigation, no testimony, no nothing.

 

Everbody knows that. The point is the investigation needs to take place. They've sat on this and pretended it didn't happen.

But also, don't throw any case out so fast, the nfl is a monopoly, and if someone can turn this case into one about a monopoly, or steroids, it can get legs. You really never know what a case will turn into. They often get legs you wouldn't have possibly expected at the beginning of it. Stranger things have happened. I get a 9 cents payday every year from some legal case that got some legs.

 

That is crazy. I wish they could turn it around on him and watch him sweat.
