He was done being an elite player his last year in TN, he was in cruise control mode for his years in BAL.

If I, for one season, had to pick 30 something McNair vs. 20 something Flacco... I'd definitely go Flacco. And I think he's overrated.

McNair was a stopgap for them, and every party involved knew it.

Oher and the Oline in general were a big part of this year's issues. Still other teams found ways and frankly the Ravens should've been hosting the Jets in the AFCC if not for 3 turnovers, 2 dropped passes and 2 awful calls in that 2nd half but I digress.

Mcnair - Hey I still have his jersey but he was good for one year (not even post season). He just couldn't stay healthy.
Flacco is the best QB that team has ever had and I've been with em since the first snap. He just needs to continue to improve and take some chances

He was going through the motions in Baltimore, collecting the last paychecks he could get in the NFL. He earned it, I suppose.

So you aren't concerned at all that the Ravens may wish to look elsewhere for a QB? I just wonder if Flacco going public with being upset at the QB coach firing means anything or not?

Any thought the Ravens might bring in McNabb as "backup" but really to compete for the starting job?

What would vince young do with their line, offensive coordinator and receivers? Probably about the same. VY has every bit of the arm that Flacco has.

They're not going to look anywhere for another QB. He's under contract and he's the guy. In the two big Pitt games he lost the first with a strip/fumble return for TD and in the 2nd he had a fumble and a floater INT. But there were other reasons they lost that game - not all on him. If they can get their Oline going and run the ball effectively again, he'll be fine. I'm glad he is speaking out, he needs to show some balls; half the time he looks like he just smoked some kush

There is no QB that I would want in this years draft, not even Locker. I'd take Flacco in a second cause he is young and still improving.

Gotcha. I was curious if the fanbase and/or front office had turned against him.

And I just wanted to be really really really optimistic about a QB choice for the 2011 Titans, if there is even a season. I guess go Palmer or McNabb or Trent Edwards or "insert free agent QB here".

Flacco sucks. And he's even worse when the game is on the line.

People wanted to blame Housh for that drop? Did you see the last 3 throws on downs 1st-3rd? Housh was probably in complete shock that a ball was catchable and thrown by Joe Flacco.

And let's not pretend McNair sucked any less for the Ravens than he did for us. He was god awful his last 2 seasons here and carried that over to them.
