McNair was painful to watch in 2005. He was not himself. There were a group of dorks who kept yelling "We believe in Steve!!" But they eventually stopped by the time Kerry Collins' Raiders were beating us.

that's not enough of a thing for him to leave or demand to be traded

and no, they wouldn't give him up unless forced into a situation where they absolutely had to.

All we need to know about the version of Steve Mcnair that the Ravens had is that 2 years removed from his MVP year we traded him for a 4th rd pick.

Flacco has alredy played in 7 post season games and all you remember is 3 passes? So you admit that you are ignorant of the subject then? So why have an opinion at all?

Flacco has led 8 4th quarter game winning drives.

It's not just about defense. Statistically the Ravens were actually less dominant this year on defense. They ranked 10th but often are a top 5 defense.

This year he had to put up some points to win some games. 34 against the Texans in a 34-28 win and they put up 37 points against the bills to win in overtime.

Is LT the best back the Jets have had in the last decade because he has better career stats than Curtis Martin? Com' on man.

the biggest issue with Flacco is that the coaching staff is suffocating him. they want him to be a game manager and nothing more (dilfer 2.0) once they give him the keys to the offense and let him throw it around some and call audibles at the line then we might see some progression out of flacco but until then....he'll continue to be a glorified trent dilfer

Oh come on! He was 11th in the nfl in passing yardage. Nothing like Dilfer at all. His effectiveness was also superior to Dilfer or Mcnair before him.

Another interesting stat is he was 9th in yards per attempt. That means he isn't just dumping the ball off and especially impressive when you consider that the Ravens have no real down field threats. Boldin and Mason catch a lot of balls but neither are great deep threats certainly not Mason at his age.

I would also hardly call Heap a deap threat as TE.

Flacco distributed the ball very well between all his receivers and he has won 2/3 of his games. There is little Raven's fans can complain about either from how he has played or how he has been coached.

The facts say that Flacco is a top 10 QB.
