Joe Flacco's Contract

I am just not a fan of having 10 elite players of one position with only 32 starters........pool is too shallow.

Sources are saying that Flacco is the highest paid player in NFL history. A guy who has never thrown more than 25 TDs in a season. Tom Brady has literally thrown double that in one year.

The contract is absurd. I'm not sure why they paid him that much. I'm one of few who think he's elite and even I can't see why they would pay him so much. He better be willing to re-structure when the time comes.

All this does is set him and his team up to have issues down the road.

Great for us and good for Flacco. Glad he stuck it to them since they didn't want to re-up prior to the season.

I guess all this proves is, be decent most of your career then right before you become a free agent on your contract year, go bonkers and win a superbowl and keep telling people you are a "top tier" qb and eventually YOU WILL cash in.

Wow, I guess anybody can just win a superbowl at will. I bet Flacco didn't even want to win, he just did it for the payday.
