Johnson/Finnegan fight & NFL punishment

Hopefully this means finny wont be fined also, i dont see how they can suspend him if AJ only gets a fine

This is absurd. Both should be fined and suspended. Throwing two punches to a player's unprotected face because you ripped his helmet off is certainly grounds for suspension...

Oh, and I'm not defending Finnegan, just saying that Johnson not being suspended is ridiculous.

I have a feeling Finny is going to be suspended which is wrong IMO. He does have the history and was warned next time he would be, but AJ clearly acted worse during the incident. I'm just wondering why they have said AJ won't be suspended but nothing on Finny yet. If one is going to be suspended they both should be

Well, like you said, one of these two players has a history and has been warned, the other one hasn't. AJ doesn't have problems with any other players from what I can tell....

He and finny got into it last year, and he was fined for it. It may not be muchbut he does have a history of this exact incident. History or not though, his actions are more than enough to warrant a suspension

I don't think I'll believe that source- reported details are quite biased. I'll wait to hear something from league.
