the intent was there for sure, im just not gettin were people think he's a "badazz" or something from those swings...
all i see is a temper tantrum from an adult whos in shape...

It all comes down to who is the trouble maker....AJ or Innegan.
Repeat offender or first time offense...AJ or Innegan.
Apoligized after the game...AJ or Innegan.

Innegan is a known instigator.......AJ isnt. It's realy a no brainer.

So, if AJ had two haymakers that hit nothing but air, or two haymakers that hit Finnegan and knocked him out, the two would be equal because the intent was the same? Not sure if I am following that logic.... but ok.

According to the NFL. Throwing a punch is illegal, whether it connects or not. Now if this was on the streets then no. But we are talking about a business where you get fined for hitting someone "too hard".

In that case, Finnegan threw a punch that hit the side of AJ's helmet. If intent is all that matters, well then, they are both guilty of throwing punches.

Well if Innegans itent was to look like an idiot he succeeded wildly.
But seriously....if you want to talk about intent ,what was Innegans intent?

I'd say the 1st two where haymakers, or just really wide right hooks. The last was a left uppercut.
