Running back Chris Johnson continued his resurgence during the Titans’ 19-13 overtime loss on Sunday, carrying 21 times for 99 yards.

Johnson topped the 90-yard mark for a third consecutive game, the first time that’s happened since the final three games of his 2000-yard season in 2009. Johnson has also gone over 90 yards in four of his last five contests.

“It’s just stepping up and making plays,” Johnson said. “I have to give the offensive line some credit for keeping those guys off me and giving me some holes. It’s a situation where the coach is just believing in me and (continuing) to give me the ball. So there are situations to step up and make plays.”

Johnson carried 10 times for 41 yards in the first half and 11 times for 58 yards in the second half.

He didn’t break any runs longer than 15 yards, but Johnson was especially effective during a scoring drive in the second half. Johnson accounted for 37 of the Titans’ 68 yards in that drive, with runs of 5, 5, 11, 14 and 2 yards.

I'm a fan of CJ, and this might piss some of his loyal fans off, but I hate watching the guy in postgame conferences. He seems much more concerned with how he did than how the team did. Really lackadaisical and doesn't seem to give a damn win or lose. As long as he gets his yards he could care less.

Just my .02, he played well today.

I think it seems that way because just about all of the questions he has to answer are about the running game. He gets asked once about the win or loss and then it's nothing but whether he sucks or not pretty much. No player wants to end his career without a super bowl win, much less a playoff win. He has zero. I highly doubt that's okay with him at all. Therefore, this game has to hurt everybody on the team.
