Just a thought here Jonathan Orr a draft pick from last year's draft was pretty much a ghost never heard or saw anything from him since his name was announced last years draft. Dont know anything about his ability or if he is having a tough time learning the offense or anything. Thanks to the outstanding sports coverage here in the nashville area (meant to be sarcastic). I saw something that he was waived and brought back or something but never much more than that. WR as a whole since the Titan era has never really been a major factor or importance. Derrick Mason is the only WR ever worth anything for the Titans. My main point in this topic any chance Orr will ever play? Or is this just another Darrell Hill who was on the team for several years never once caught a pass or even thrown to so what is the deal with Jonathan Orr. I guess a 2nd part of this equation will WR position ever become a part of the offense here in Tennessee?

We have a lot of depth when it comes to young, average receivers. So it'll be hard for Orr to find a spot.
Darrell Hill had more potential than just about any receiver we've had, but he was snubbed constantly by the coaching staff. He'd do great in preseason, making diving catches and beating corners, but come reg. season they never let him play.
They also never let him go anywhere else until it was too late. Some people thought it was something personal between he and the coaches.

Kuharsky wrote in December that Orr was doing well in practice, making a lot of good catches, and he also wondered why Orr wasn't getting playing time. Apparently he never got a satisfactory answer.

He said the same about Lowry and/or Fuller getting playing time in lieu of Lamont and couldn't get an answer on that either.

Fisher said at the end of the season, that he was really excited to see how Orr will progress this season, and sayed Orr specifically so obviously he must be impressing the coaches in practice...

With Orr it simply was a numbers problem. We simply did not have room on the active roster for him to get into games. Roby and Williams obviously knew the offense better being second year guys and deserved to be more involved on game day. I'm sure Orr will get his shot this year.

It is puzzling how Lamont didn't get benched as 90% of the other coaches in the league would have done. We still don't really know or feel any more comfortable with Lowry and Fuller simply because they never got a shot to prove themselves.

Roby did catch a pass. It was in during the Colts game at home. It was a 25 or so yard completion.

What do you expect he was a late round pick. While starting a rookie QB.

Fisher's contract is up this year. Expect to see a much better team on the field......going to the playoffs ups your stock. He was just "bad" enough this year to get rid of Reese, now we shall see how things go.

  10. He's just one of those players that aren't good enough to make the team, no need to worry about it...
