Jones is a "difference-maker," said Jim Washburn

    Tennessee Titans defensive line coach Jim Washburn uses two words to describe defensive tackle Jason Jones.

    OK, it’s actually two words hyphenated to make one.

    “He’s a difference-maker,” Washburn said of the third-year player from Eastern Michigan.

    After undergoing rotator cuff surgery on his left shoulder, something that limited him to seven games last year, Jones is back strong enough that he is now getting first-team reps at left defensive tackle, moving ahead of Jovan Haye in the rotation.


    “Having a healthy Jason Jones, with some of the stuff he’s put on practice film already, I can’t wait to have him out there and keep him healthy and see what kind of impact he can have on our season.”




    I have high hopes for Jason Jones ,he will be a beast if he stays healthy.

    He is one of those guys on defense that really needs to make an impact this season if we want to be a competitive team. well, really you could say that about the whole line.

    anyway, I have high hopes for him also.
