You think McDaniels needed Bill to tell him getting rid of two of his best players was dumb?

Think Chip needs someone to tell him trading McCoy was dumb?

 

No absolutely not but you made a generalization and tried to rationalize it with two examples.

It's like saying all cops are murderers when two of them shot and killed possible suspects.

Mentors are absolutely beneficial. You can disagree. People make mistakes all the time but that doesn't essentially mean they're going to make those same mistakes forever and suck at whatever it is they are doing.
