Pardon my arrogance.. what does this mean exactly? He takes over Steve Underwood role? Or is on par with Underwood?

But alas it is a title under the Lorax Executive VP/GM. I would guess the Lorax will worry about taking advantage of the homeless people selling concessions and thankfully have no need to make football decisions like find a Head Coach or some such crap

 

He has not changed positions. He just has more power making football decisions. Ruston Webster had the same title at the time he was fired.

Hopefully Robinson is not afraid to use the power of the title. Webster always ran from the chance to make big decisions. He relied on the owners to do it. I am not expecting that from Robinson. He is more of a leader. I think he will make much more of the job than Webster did.....

 

I like this move, but im generally not a fan of anyone doing 2 jobs on a football tesm, especially if those jobs are gm or hc. I would like to see him/titans bring in another mind into the mix (assistant gm or whatever they want to call it). He has proven he can make the right calls thus far, but i don't want him overloaded or given to much responsibility.

Honestly, it's probably mostly a Pay raise/title thing. I don't think it will change a whole lot. The only big difference I could really see, is that he now has probably total control of coaching decisions, as well as personnel. Underwood and AAS were probably treating the duties like a hot potato, and JRob looks suitable.

No reason to distrust him at this point (as far as the higher ups go)

 

He's still under Underwood, everyone but the Adams Family is.

Basically means the owners have more confidence in Robinson than they had in Webster to make right decisions...

 

It's a good move, even if it's just basically a title thing it shows the everyone else in the organization that doing s good job is recognized, appreciated and rewarded.

Good for moral and culture from top to bottom.
