Its always a risk. Every player in the NFL is going to play better during contract years. Just like you'll work harder at your job around the holidays...
But you have to take the chance. Especially if you remember how we looked without him last season. A 70% effort pushing Albert is still better than 80% of DTs in the league.

 

Haynesworth wants to be a titan, he also wants a lot of money..I ultimately see him in two toned blue next season..especially if we do what I think we will, win a superbowl.

 

Haynesworth > Cutler, VY, or almost any other QB in the league. He's that valuable to us.

It's hard to when someone puts the thought of keeping Vince over and letting Bullock and Haynesworth go. Burner, which would you rather have going forward if we HAD to cut 1, Vince or Haynesworth?

 

Considering Haynesworth is the best DT in the NFL then Haynesworth.

 

We'll see, maybe Bulluck is just talking to keep his leverage, and he'll take a reasonable deal. He'll get more on the open market than we'll pay him, and more than what he'll be worth two seasons from now. I hope he'll accept growing old and being a role player and character guy in this locker room.
